INSANE DECEMBER VIDDING PROJECT!!!
What is InsDecVidPro (or IDVP) you may be asking yourself?
The What: You give me a character, pairing, or episode from the below fandoms and any song at all, and I produce a one-minute vid for you. My goal? To produce a one-minute vid every day for the first 15 days of December. I was going to do the whole month but I realized I’d be gone for part of it (and thus away from my computer) so had to scrap that.
Each day I will try to find a new technique or spiffy trick or something different and new to apply to each vid. None of these will be beta-edited. Keep in mind that these could all be total crap. If this is your dream idea, you'll probably be disappointed. It's an exercise for me based off of the idea behind NaNoWriMo, and applying it to vidding.
The Why: Insanity. (You did see the title of this idea right?) Also, and more importantly because: 1) I’m trying to practice vidding under restrained creativity - which means ideas that I didn't dream up myself; 2) I’m trying to learn new software and the more that I mess with it the better I’ll pick it up; and 3) I want to try a new type of vidding (for me) and throw things at the timeline to see how they look; I’m hoping it will unleash some wacky but cool ideas that I won’t have time to bat down as dumb.
The When: Sign-ups are open until November 30th or15 14 people have signed up (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
fer1213 automatically gets one of the slots because it's her birthday during that time period), whichever comes first. Each person can ask for ONE vidlet. If I don’t get 14 requests by Nov 28, come back and request a second one. :) (Or a third if there's room!)

The Who: You guys! Always wanted to see a Braveheart vid? Ask away! Have a song with the perfect chorus for a character, even if the rest of it doesn't quite fit? Ask for that instead!
The Limitations: You must choose from one of the below fandoms. You can choose ANY GENRE OF MUSIC YOU WANT. Seriously – opera, rap, country, pop, metal, instrumental, techno, ANYTHING. Although I would look more kindly on you if you didn’t choose Evanescence. ;) I will not vid songs that I have vidded before. And I reserve the right to refuse songs that I have on my ‘To Vid’ list, but you will be able to choose an alternate if that happens. And finally, if I know a vid exists in that fandom to the song you choose, I won’t do it (but you can choose an alternate idea). And I’ll try to link you to that vid if I can. :) And if for some reason my job gets incredibly busy again, then I'll have to postpone it until January, but I'm hoping (*fingers crossed* *knocks on wood*) that's not going to happen since it's December.
The Fandoms: Here’s the best part, the tv shows/movies that you can choose from. I picked these because I own them and also for one or all of the following reasons: I love them, I know them well, or I find them visually arresting.
