In honor of today being the Official Opening Of Serenity (can you believe it?!), I present to you the following super-fantastic works of art.
Firefly In Stick Figures!
Where I explain the deep thematic and character significance of each episode to you in one hastily drawn sketch. Or at least catch you up to date on what happened during the series. Or maybe just amuse you for a few minutes. Whatever, I'm not picky.
Serenity (the pilot) - In which the most important thing we learn is that AN HOUR AND A HALF IS BETTER THAN 45 MINUTES YOU RETARDS AT FOX. I mean, we learn that the crew likes each other and Serenity. And River is crazy.

The Train Job - In which we learn that floaty trains are AWESOME. Except when drawn by me. We also learn that Mal is badass when he kicks a guy into the engine. (PS - I gave Mal that third leg ON ACCIDENT so get your minds out of the gutter. :P)

Bushwhacked - In which we learn that Reavers are creepy. Except when drawn by me. Also, Simon pines after Kaylee and secretly feels above her thanks to the magic of set direction, and Wash loves his Zoe. And apparently has backwards-bending feet.

Shindig - In which we learn that Mal can dance, Inara can wield a sword, and only Kaylee could get away with that dress. Especially since she apparently has no feet.

Safe - In which we learn that River can also dance and our crew are Big Damn Heroes. And in the lacking lower extremities department, I forgot to give Zoe legs. I also apparently am jealous of her beauty, if the amount I made her look like cyclops is any indication.

Our Mrs. Reynolds - In which we learn about Special Hells and just how much Jayne loves his gun. And Book has more of a smudge than a mustache.

Jaynestown - In which we learn what going mad feels like and Book has really big hair. Plus - singing!

Out of Gas - In which we learn Mal + Serenity = OTP!

Ariel - In which we learn Simon can be a criminal mastermind and Mal doesn't take crap from anybody. Oh, and the Blue Hand guys are very, very creepy.

War Stories - In which we learn Zoe will pick Wash first but also tucks Mal's ear in her vest which means she holds both men in her heart. Also, Mal apparently has freakishly large ears and Jayne loves the femslash.

Trash - In which we learn not to trust YoSafBridge and Mal is ok being naked in front of his crew.

The Message - In which we learn that River has food issues and Jayne's momma loves him. And I cry at the end music. A lot. I also apparently sit on the world's thinnest couch.

Heart of Gold - In which we learn that Inara loves Mal and that's why she's leaving. Aiee! And I'm getting tired of drawing. Heh.

Objects In Space - In which we learn something is Just Not Right about that River chick but they all love her anyway, Jubal Early is Creepy and Doomed, and fandom loves a good gun metaphor.

Whew. Now you're all caught up!
The End. :)
PS - The Super Serenity Challenge starts today! Yay!
